I met Max from Miami Beach at a pregame I was hosting back in October, where a lot of new fresh faces rolled through my apartment on a cold rainy Seattle day. Meeting people for the first time in your own home is an interesting grab bag of feelings: I get excited to play hostess, yet I also feel exposed through sharing the intimacies of my home, especially with those who I don't know that well. But even the best of friends start as strangers, so with some whiskey I generally will get over the initial social anxiety and socialize.
Max wears a lot of earth and neutral tones, so it's no surprise that one of his favorite pieces is a green t-shirt (although I'm not sure I've ever seen this shirt so Max let's hang out soon). And I think I vibe with Max though cause we're both really nostalgic people: one of his favorite accessories is a pink lighter he's always got in his pocket, adorned with a sticker he designed with a friend. He's always got great stories to share with me, and I also deeply appreciate that he lets me talk incessantly about my feelings.
Here are some snaps from a trip to Seattle Art Museum.
